MSc. Manuel Vázquez Seijido

University graduate in Law, Head of the Legal Advice Team of the National Center for Sexual Education

He is professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Havana (Department of Basic Law Studies and Department of Criminal Sciences and Criminology) and of the postgraduate course taught at the National Center for Sexual Education. He is coordinator of the Legal Orientation Services of the National Center for Sexual Education and the Community Network of the National Center for Sexual Education. He is member of the National Union of Cuban Lawyers (UNJC, Spanish acronym), the Multidisciplinary Society for the Study of Sexuality (SOCUMES, Spanish acronym), the National Commission for the Integral Attention of Transsexual People (CNAIPT, Spanish acronym), Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP, Spanish acronym), Cuba, and the Latin American Institute of Labor Rights and Social Security (ILTRASS, Spanish acronym).

He has participated in numerous national and international activities concerning topics of sexual rights related to sexual orientation and gender identity, gender and human rights.

He has published scientific papers in Cuba and other countries.
