She graduated in Psychology and has a Master Degree in Sexuality. She coordinates the Network of Transgender People, Transcuba, forms part of the National Committee for the Integral Attention of Transgender People and directs the project Advances towards Sustainability of the National Response (RCC, Spanish acronym) and Closing Gaps. She is in charge of the sexual diversity topic since that work began, working during 10 years in the education of Trans sexual health promoters for the prevention of STI and HIV/AIDS. She is member of the Multidisciplinary Society for the Study of Sexuality (SOCUMES, Spanish acronym) and the Latin American Federation of Sexology and Sex Education Associations (FLASSES, Spanish acronym). She is in charge of the Cuban Program for Sexual Health (PROCUSS, Spanish acronym).
