Lisandra Puentes Valladares

Journalist, graduated in 2010. She has worked on topics of HIV/AIDS prevention, at the weekly newspaper Tribuna de la Habana. She was editor for the Saíz Brothers Association (AHS*, Spanish acronym). She participated in the workshop Generating Gender Journalism, of the Women’s Editorial and the AECID (Spanish acronym for Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development).

At present she collaborates with the Cubacine website


* AHS, is the Association of young Cuban artists; the name comes from two adolescent brothers killed during the Batista regime, who were poets.
