PhD. Natividad Guerrero

She graduated in Psychology, has a master in Sexology and PhD in Psychological Sciences; Senior Professor and Senior Researcher; member of the University of Havana’s National Board for Scientific Degrees of the Faculty of Psychology; member of the Cuban Multidisciplinary Society for the Study of Sexuality (SOCUMES); forms part of the Master in Sexuality Education teaching staff at the Enrique José Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences and the Master in Sport Psychology at the Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture Sciences and Sport.

Author and coauthor of several books and articles in indexed scientific journals; she has taken part in multiple national and international events as speaker and has been invited to some of them (Cuba, Colombia, Brazil). On four occasions she was member of the Cuban delegations to the UN Commission of Human Rights in Geneva representing the Cuban NGO Center for Youth Studies. She is member of the technical advisory committee on decentralization of the Cuban Response to HIV/AIDS and was director of the Center for Youth Studies and its journal ESTUDIOS (2002-2012). She collaborates in a permanent section Thinking Together at the radio station Habana Radio in which she gives weekly psychological assistance. She received the Carlos J. Finlay Order awarded by the State Council of Cuba to outstanding scientists.
